Emma Codman is a physical therapist and board certified women's health clinical specialist. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. Her clinical specialties include pelvic pain, endometriosis, sexual dysfunction/pain, vulvodynia, bowel dysfunction, as well as pre and post natal musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Codman’s interest in physical therapy began after sustaining several injuries, while training to be a classical ballet dancer. This sparked her curiosity in learning how and why physical injuries occur and what can be done to prevent them. When she learned abut pelvic floor PT in school, she knew she had to learn more and never looked back. Her interest in this specialty was fueled by her own experience and journey with pelvic pain. She is passionate about improving her patients’ quality of life for the long term.

Her goal is to empower patients to be confident in themselves throughout the healing process.

Dr. Codman cares deeply about women’s health and is passionate about teaching her patients about their bodies and how they can impact their own health.
